Internet Settings for Mobile Devices

1. NOKIA 6280
Internet setting
To define the settings for the packet data connections,
  • Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Packet data > Packet data settings > Active access point, and activate the access point you want to use.
  • Select Edit active access point > Alias for access point, enter a name to change the access point settings, and select OK.
  • Select Packet data access point, enter the access point name (APN) to establish a connection to a network, and select OK.

2. NOKIA 5800

Internet setting

Select Menu > Settings and Connectivity >Destinations > Access point, and follow the instructions on the screen.
Select from the following:
  • Access point name — browse
  • User name — leave blank
  • Prompt password — leave blank, select Yes.
  • Password — leave blank

3. Sony Ericsson K800c

Internet setting
  • Settings > the General Tab > Setup Wizard > Settings Download and follow the instructions that appear

4. HTC Dream
Internet setting
Press HOME > MENU, then select Settings > Wireless & Network settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Menu > New then create new access point APN is browse

5. Nokia 6500 slide
Internet setting
  • Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Packet data > Packet data settings > Active access point, and activate the access point you want to use.
  • Select Edit active access point, enter a name to change the access point settings, and select OK.

Internet setting
  • From standby select Menu > Settings > the General tab > Setup wizard > Settings download. Follow the instructions that appear.

7. Nokia E63
Internet setting
  • Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points
  • To create a new access point, select Options > New access point or select an existing access point from the list and then Options > Duplicate access point to use the access point as a basis for the new one.

8. Nokia 2730 classic
Internet setting

  • Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access Points

9. iPhone 3G
Internet setting
  • Setting > General > Network > Mobile Data Network > APN

10. Sony Ericsson K800i
Internet setting
  • Settings > the General Tab > Setup Wizard > Settings Download And follow the instructions that appear.

11. Nokia N73
Internet setting

  • Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points
  • To create a new access point, select Options > New access point.
  • Select Use default settings to use the default access point settings, or Use existing settings to select an existing access point as the basis for the new access point.
To edit the settings of an access point, select Options > Edit. Follow the instructions.
Connection name — Enter a descriptive name for the connection.
Data bearer — Select the data connection type.
Depending on the data connection you select, only certain setting fields are available. Fill in all fields marked with Must be defined or with a red asterisk. Other fields can be left empty,

12. Nokia N70
Internet setting

Press web select Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points, and define the settings for an access point.
To set the created access point as the default access point: Web, select Web > Options > Settings > Access point.

13. Blackberry 9700
Internet setting
Activate PIN to use the internet using either of the following
  • Dial the shortcode 212
  • Go to the Vodafone website and fill a request form (available late September). If your SIM card is new, please remember to complete SIM registration beforehand.

14. Nokia N71
Internet setting
  • Press web button > select Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points, and define the settings for an access point.

15. Nokia N95
To edit access point and other connection settings, press and select Tools > Settings > Connection.
To create a new access point, select Options > New access point.
To edit the settings of an access point, select Options > Edit.

  • Connection name — Enter a descriptive name for the connection.
  • Data bearer — Select the data connection type.
